Andrey Vedikhin

Co-founder of the Alpari Group

CEO, Alpari (UK)

Andrey Vedikhin has played a leading role in Alpari’s history, as Andrey originally co-founded the Alpari Group in 1998. His company vision and entrepreneurial spirit drove Alpari from concept to a rapidly growing and highly competitive company in the online FOREX industry. Under his leadership, the company achieved profitability within the first nine months of existence.

As Chief Executive Officer of Alpari (UK), Andrey (33) is responsible for new business development and strategic initiatives for the whole Alpari Group.

Andrey started to gather expertise in cross-markets and FOREX trading at a young age. In 1995, aged 20 and still studying, he immersed himself in the Russian financial markets. Not content just graduating with distinction from the Economical Department of Kazan State University, Russia, in 1997, he went on to complete an additional PhD in Economics and focussed solely on FOREX trading from 1998 onwards. He is certified by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) in Unit 1 and Unit 3.

Andrey co-authored “FOREX: an inside view” with fellow Alpari Group co-founder Gleb Petrov and has authored several scientific publications.

Andrey is married with two children. In his spare time, he likes to program Expert Advisors, blog about FOREX at www.vedikhin.ru and create programs using C++ and Delphi.

Olga Rybalkina

Chief Executive Officer,  Alpari (US)

Since the Alpari Group’s inception, Olga has played a pivotal role in the development of the group’s international presence. As one of Alpari Russia’s original employees, Olga joined the company’s dealing operations in 1998. She later transitioned to head Alpari Russia’s Back Office Division and then head Alpari Russia’s Internal Audit Department. In 2006, Olga became Finance Director of Alpari Russia. She designed and implemented an innovative financial management system, which has been used as a base for the financial model of all companies within the Alpari Group. Olga has also worked closely with prominent industry players in researching and developing projects that have been integral to the success of the Alpari Group.

In 2007, Olga was appointed the CEO of Alpari (US), a company based in New York City and strategically located in the financial district of a major world financial center. Olga has been responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the company, while providing the direction and leadership to achieve Alpari (US)’s mission.

Olga holds an honors degree in Financial Management from Kazan State University. In her spare time, Olga enjoys travelling and is an avid reader (enjoying a range of subjects, ranging from classic literature to trading strategies), swimmer and photographer.

Yaroslav Shevchenko

General Manager, Alpari (US) 

insert bioHaving first joined Alpari (US) in 2006, Yaroslav was instrumental in establishing the company’s US presence, corporate structure and forex trading operations. One year after joining the company, Yaroslav was appointed Managing Director of Alpari (US). He is responsible for overseeing the company’s corporate operations, compliance and marketing divisions, and information technology management system.

A firm believer in sound and reliable business practices, Yaroslav successfully led Alpari (US) through the initial and rigorous audits mandated by its US regulators (the CFTC and NFA). Yaroslav also formed partnerships with key players in the forex financial market. Through such partnerships, he has been able to both develop novel systems which analyze price patterns/trends and make these systems accessible to forex traders.

Yaroslav brought to Alpari (US) strong industry knowledge and hands-on experience with commodity and forex trading. As a self-trader in commodities and the former owner of a Wall Street-based hedge fund and Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), Yaroslav has more than 10 years of international trading experience.

Yaroslav is regarded as a risk taker and an innovator. He enjoys downhill skiing, deep ocean fishing, and researching and developing technical analysis and trading

Sabeena Ahmed

General Counsel, Alpari (US)

Sabeena joined Alpari (US) as the firm’s General Counsel in the Spring of 2008. She brought to the firm substantial experience on both the regulatory and industry sides of the financial services industry. At the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Sabeena handled high profile securities fraud cases; cases involving complex accounting and disclosure issues; and regulatory investigations involving multiple regulatory bodies such as the SEC, the Department of Justice, state regulators, FINRA and international regulatory bodies such as the United Kingdom Financial Services Authority.

Through her work in Merrill Lynch’s Office of General Counsel and the Bank of New York Mellon’s Legal Division, she principally handled internal investigations, advising on preventive and remedial measures before and after securities-related issues arise, compliance matters and coordinated the firms’ anti-money laundering programs.

Constantine Goncharov

IT Manager, Alpari (US)

Constantine Goncharov, age 28, joined Alpari (US) in 2007, during the company’s launch, and quickly took on the role of IT Specialist and System Administrator. He is responsible for configuring all Alpari (US) networks and systems from scratch and fully equipping and managing our 2 data centers; 1 in Staten Island and another, recently established, in Virginia.

Constantine’s interest in computers sprung about at a young age when he was introduced to the technological capabilities and scientific advancement of computer systems. He went on to continue his education and graduated from the State University of Russia in 2003 with a Master’s Degree in Computer Science.

Constantine has been living in the United States for 5 years, is married and currently living in Brooklyn, NY. His other interests include skiing, listening to dance music and learning more about American culture.
