Chief Executive Officer, Alpari (US)
Since the Alpari Group’s inception, Olga has played a pivotal role in the development of the group’s international presence. As one of Alpari Russia’s original employees, Olga joined the company’s dealing operations in 1998. She later transitioned to head Alpari Russia’s Back Office Division and then head Alpari Russia’s Internal Audit Department. In 2006, Olga became Finance Director of Alpari Russia. She designed and implemented an innovative financial management system, which has been used as a base for the financial model of all companies within the Alpari Group. Olga has also worked closely with prominent industry players in researching and developing projects that have been integral to the success of the Alpari Group.
In 2007, Olga was appointed the CEO of Alpari (US), a company based in New York City and strategically located in the financial district of a major world financial center. Olga has been responsible for establishing and implementing the strategic goals and objectives of the company, while providing the direction and leadership to achieve Alpari (US)’s mission.
Olga holds an honors degree in Financial Management from Kazan State University.
Managing Director, Alpari (US)
Having first joined Alpari (US) in 2006, Yaroslav was instrumental in establishing the company’s US presence, corporate structure and forex trading operations. One year after joining the company, Yaroslav was appointed Managing Director of Alpari (US). He is responsible for overseeing the company’s corporate operations, compliance and marketing divisions, and information technology management system.
A firm believer in sound and reliable business practices, Yaroslav successfully led Alpari (US) through the initial and rigorous audits mandated by its US regulators (the CFTC and NFA). Yaroslav also formed partnerships with key players in the forex financial market. Through such partnerships, he has been able to both develop novel systems which analyze price patterns/trends and make these systems accessible to forex traders.
Yaroslav brought to Alpari (US) strong industry knowledge and hands-on experience with commodity and forex trading. As a self-trader in commodities and the former owner of a Wall Street-based hedge fund and Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA), Yaroslav has more than 10 years of international trading experience.
General Counsel, Alpari (US)
Sabeena joined Alpari (US) as the firm’s General Counsel in the Spring of 2008. She brought to the firm substantial experience on both the regulatory and industry sides of the financial services industry. At the Office of the Attorney General of the State of New Jersey and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Sabeena handled high profile securities fraud cases; cases involving complex accounting and disclosure issues; and regulatory investigations involving multiple regulatory bodies such as the SEC, the Department of Justice, state regulators, FINRA and international regulatory bodies such as the United Kingdom Financial Services Authority.
Through her work in Merrill Lynch’s Office of General Counsel and the Bank of New York Mellon’s Legal Division, she principally handled internal investigations, advising on preventive and remedial measures before and after securities-related issues arise, compliance matters and coordinated the firms’ anti-money laundering programs.
Sabeena is an active member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association. She is also a member of the New York and New Jersey bars and has been admitted to practice law before several U.S. federal courts.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Political Science from the University of Toronto, a Master of Arts in International Relations from Columbia University and a Juris Doctor from St. John’s University School of Law.
Client Services Manager, Alpari (US)
David joined Alpari (US) in January of ‘08 before the official company launch date. During the pre-launch period he learned many aspects of the business and implemented ideas with management in creating the proper structure specifically for the Client Services division of the business model. A year later, David was promoted to Manager of the Client Services Team and he continues to focus on refining the department’s internal procedures to improve its quality and efficiency when dealing with all clients.
