Official Rules for Alpari (US) FREE Demo Trading Contest
Registration will begin Monday May 4, 2009 and end Friday May 29, 2009. The Contest will begin Monday June 1, 2009 at 9am EST and will end Tuesday June 30, 2009 at 6pm EST. The Winners will be announced on our website the first week of July and the Top 10 performers will be posted.
This contest is FREE to enter. You do not have to have a Live Account to participate. The only requirement is to be 18 years of age or older and officially registered. *
What are the prizes? 1st place winner will receive a 42inch flat screen LCD TV, 2nd Place will receive a Laptop, and 3rd Place will receive an IPod Touch.
What does it take to win? Each entrant in the contest will receive a demo account with a $5000 balance to start. Leverage will be set at 100:1. The winner(s) will be determined by the following formula: ending equity- starting equity/starting equity*100=month percentage gain or loss. Contestants with the highest gain in the given month will be the winners.
Any contestant found exploiting the MT4 platform for fraudulent profits will forego all rights to win the contest. Tampering with the system to increase a demo account’s profits is prohibited and will result in elimination from the competition. If one or more contestants are found using the same IP Address or trading multiple accounts, both or all contestants will be disqualified. One entry per person per contest.
Winners of the contest are obligated to give Alpari (US) an interview either by phone or in person to answer a few questions relating to their experience with the contest and Alpari (US). This obligation MUST be fulfilled in order to collect any prizes offered during the contest.
Alpari (US) has sole discretion to disqualify any Entrant found in violation of the rules of the contest.
* Registration will begin Monday May 4, 2009 and end Friday May 29, 2009. Requests that are received after 4pm EST on Friday May 29, 2009 will not be eligible to enter and win the contest. In order to be recognized as officially entered into the contest you must have received a Confirmation from Alpari (US) prior to the start of the Contest.
